RENOVATIONS ARE ALMOST COMPLETE! Updated pictures are coming soon! Celebrate your family in this spacious and serene waterfront home overlooking Essex Bay. This historic home was built in 1894 by Boston Restauranteur Jacob Wirth; his family enjoyed it as their summer home. You now have the rare opportunity to enjoy this fabulous home on Essex Bay with your family & friends. The Town of Essex provides public access to a beach, dock, and mooring rentals. ❤️👏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Our Conomo Point neighborhood is extraordinary.

The Conomo Point community is known for its summer beach cottages and families who have summered there for generations. There is a sailing program for the local children and seasonal lifeguards on the docks for those kids who want to play in the deeper water but still need supervision. The point is known for the childhood sport of catching and releasing cute little hermit crabs! Favorite past times of adults are relaxing on the beach with friends and families and watching the spectacular sunsets! Generally, it’s good old-fashioned fun, lots of water play, beach time, and time spent on boats and paddleboards.

The Town of Essex provides public access to a beach, dock, and mooring rentals. Please look on the town of Essex, MA web pages regarding Harbor master and transient-moorings.

You have three types of water surrounding Conomo Point. There is the waterfront with Essex Bay, the Narrows at the tip of Conomo Point, where the Essex River joins the Essex Bay, and along the backside, you have the marshes filling up the space between Conomo Point Road and Robbins Island Road.

Come and join us for a visit and see why the Conomo Point Association’s logo is “Get to the Point!’ Once here, you will want to return every summer and enjoy this special place by the sea.

Getting around

You will need a car to explore our beautiful area and restaurants.

The village has fabulous restaurants about 3 miles, less than a 10-minute drive.

The beautiful sand beaches of Crane Beach in Ipswich, Wingaersheek, and the award-winning Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester are all less than a 20 minutes drive.

There is a market about a mile down the street and many supermarkets within a 20 minutes drive. Although my favorite food shopping is at the farmers’ markets, several are nearby within a 15-20 minute drive.

There are delivery services for groceries, so if you want to come and stay in our little community, order food from the services, and walk to the beach, it’s possible!
